A Brooklyn, New York based general contracting and fabrication firm. Specializing in hospitality, residential builds, and bespoke fabrications — conceived in their Williamsburg workshop.
Full commercial and residential build-outs managed from DOB filings to final inspection — demolition, framing, rough carpentry, and every trade in between.
Banquettes, millwork, casework, and one-off custom fixtures designed and built in our Brooklyn fabrication studio, then installed on site.
Complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing — including HVAC split units, ductwork, and mechanical permits — coordinated and executed to spec.
Full apartment gut renovations, kitchens, and bathrooms — waterfall counters, curbless showers, fine paint and plaster, built to live in for the long haul.
Paint, plaster, tile, and finish work — the details that decide whether a space feels finished or merely done.
We carry all necessary licensing and insurance for our projects, and work shoulder to shoulder with architects, designers, and engineers from drawings to final inspection.
Wright Brothers prides itself on being a full-service operation.
From the opening of DOB filings to the opening of your doors — they have a plan. Over the years they have developed a prolific reputation in both the hospitality and residential sectors, while incorporating their bespoke fabrications.
From the most demanding bar and restaurant settings in downtown Manhattan to the vibe-driven listening rooms of Brooklyn, Wright Brothers was born in the fires of food and beverage. Delivering on tight budgets and even tighter deadlines has enabled them to work on multiple Michelin-rated and James Beard–winning projects.
Wright Brothers' residential philosophy evolved from the same commercial philosophy that got them started: intentionality, creativity, and an unapologetic attention to detail. Incorporating the high-design details and techniques employed in their hospitality projects brings a breath of fresh air to the residential work Wright Brothers takes on. Whether it's a gut renovation or a facelift, they bring the craft, design, and management of their commercial projects to a scale that fits your request.
The Brooklyn headquarters houses a multidisciplinary fabrication studio. Here, clients' requests can be manufactured to spec. The small operation allows for fast production lead times along with hands-on input from the customer. This is the cornerstone of the Wright Brothers model — if we can't order it… we make it.

Brothers and native New Yorkers Taylor Mapps and Taaj Sallid founded Wright Brothers Worldwide with the intention to shake up the industry. They set out to build a firm that delivered the quality and creativity of seasoned artisans while functioning with the knowledge and efficiency of trade professionals. The initial idea was to bring a unique design/build service to clients — flexible enough for creative experimentation, but grounded in the principles of traditional construction. They had no idea what they were signing up for.
Fast forward six years: 20+ restaurants and bars, 5,000-square-foot luxury apartments. What have they learned? What sets them apart from the rest? Unapologetic attention to detail — bare minimum just doesn't cut it for them. That standard is embodied by the bespoke products fabricated in studio.
Just as important is the relationship with the customer. Their mission from day one was to take agency over the elements of construction and design that the typical contractor would kick the can on. An honest and inspired relationship is necessary for Wright Brothers to achieve exceptional results for their clients. Wright Brothers often works directly alongside architects, designers, and engineers to produce team results that are more than just a sum of their parts.
